Our Review

Though its red brick exterior might not give the best first impression, the Thistle boasts a lovely art deco lobby and is a comfortable, well run hotel ideally located in the city centre, close to the Theatre Royal and Sauchiehall Street. Particularly popular with aircrew on stopovers, it also has a wide range of leisure facilities and plentiful covered parking.

The hotel is located in the heart of Glasgow, very close to the School of Art, the Royal Concert Hall and the Theatre Royal. Boutique shopping in Buchanan Street and the bars, restaurants and clubs of the Merchant City are just 10 minutes’ walk away.

     Great location for seeing Glasgow....             great location...             Great hotel cause of location ...             a great location just off the main shopping area...             The location of this hotel is excellent for shopping and dining out...             Well within walking distance of shopping centres and various city centre Museums & Galleries ...             Very central for shopping and local theatres ...             Central location which is ideal for shopping.eating and nightlife...             very close to the shops, although quite 'dodgy' around the area at night ...
