staff are very friendly and helpful, i felt the rooms were very tired looking and could do with redecorating, both the room and the bathroom were not very clean, put me of staying there again.

Aplace to stop overnight. Good central location. Staff helpful,if a little distant.Restaurant down a series of stairs....breakfast mediocre.Eggs hard,bacon undercooked,juice glass cracked,toast served before meal rendering it cold when served.Room service arrived to clean the room when I was barely packed to check out!

I read a few bad reviews on this hotel but took a chance because it was cheap and i was only staying 1 night. But i was pleasantly surprised. The staff were helpful and let us have our room early because we were going to a wedding. The room was small but nice and had everything we needed including a really good hairdryer, nice tv, lots of big mirrors etc! The only down point was the lack of water pressure in the shower, but friends in a different room had a brilliant shower, so it was just unlucky. Location excellent if you want to be in the city centre. It's round the corner from the main shopping area and close to both stations.

Limited hotel parking @ £5 per day so it's recommended to phone the hotel before arriving to get details.

Room No307 suffers from noise from Club next door. Reception could not help & on checkout did not want to know about complaint. Dont stay in any room next to club.
