The hotel is located on Bath Street in the heart of Glasgow City Centre, just across from the Sauchiehall Street shopping centre. The world-renowned Glasgow School of Art is close by and Glasgow International Airport is a 15 minute drive away.

The Abode Hotel is housed in a traditional building, which dates from 1911 and has a beautiful classical façade. The listed interior has an original modern design, lending the property a unique feel. The 60 spacious guestrooms are all individually designed in a contemporary style. No two rooms are the same but all are impressive with individual works of art on prominent display. All the rooms have a double bed, there are no twin bedded rooms.
There are two restaurants in the hotel, the informal bar & gril, BarMC, in the basement serving a good choice of meals and also serving a buffet breakfast and the formal fine dining restaurant "Michael Caines" just off the reception where you enjoy beautiful cuisine in elegant surroundings.
The hotel describes itself as embodying 'urban glamour'. It has an excellent location and is one of the most fashionable spots in town.
