Although we had our hotel voucher, upon arrival the hotel tried to charge us again and we had to make a few calls before going to the reception and quering it which sort of put us of a bit

The room was rather small, and also rather dark, with poor lighting. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was of a good standard. The location was fair, although it took 15 minutes downhill to the centre of Glasgow and 20 minutes back uphill!
Top Tip
Fine dining within easy walking distance was Brian Maule at Chardon D'Or, and Rococo. Both were expensive, but good.

Allocated a room kitted out for a wheelchair user. Basin at knee level and orange pull chord. Breakfast room was cold. It took 4 attempts to get our breakfast order right and even then they never brought tomatoes as requested for my husband. Many residents were complaining.

I found the room I was alloted to be rather dark. The curtains were difficult to draw & it felt very enclosed
Also the basin in the bathroom was most unsatisfactory - water every where. Convenient to most city sights. Quiet location.

The room we were in was a bit noisy, but the hotel is in the process of fitting double glazing which should help a lot. Service at breakfast was slow and rather surly.
Top Tip
78 St Vincent Street is a restaurant with very good food.

The location, standard and service levels are very high. The room was pretty small but perfectly formed. I have stayed in Malmasion hotels in London and Manchester and they provide CD players but maybe this comes with a higher priced room?This hotel is right in the heart of pubs, retaurants and shops but set back far enough to be quiet at night.
Top Tip
There is no parking at the Hotel but reduced rates are available at public car parks nearby.
