Interior of the building was tired. Door lock on room broken. TV didnt work. Trouser press missing from wall. Room in dire need of redecoration - along with the rest of the hoteland 2 of the 3 lifts were out of order.
Its PLUS points are that it is spotlesly clean, right on the station, staff were really polite - unfortunately the station alarm also sounded at 03.00hrs and workmen were doing some grinding workin the station for a short time after that - but then one is a a railway station and some noise is to be expected in a room backing onto the station concourse.
Top Tip
Its an ideal location for travellers arriving / departing from Glasgow Central Station as well as being cheap and clean.

Ok if you want a cheap city centre hotel. Only 1 out of 3 lifts in working order and you may get a smoking bedroom as this was never asked when booking on your site.
Top Tip
Plenty of bars and restaurants within a 2 minute walk.

Hotel was in a good location .It was built in 1870's I was told, I think the rooms were last modified in the 1870's. Tiles cracked in bathroom, bath needs clean, paper peeling from walls.Windows need modernising. Not a 3* hotel

Beware of this hotel. Looks lovely on the site but is in a state of disrepair with disgruntled staff clearly fed up with number of complaints. One of the three lifts worked and we were not the only guests completely dissatisfied. We were also charged for a movie we did not watch and we were not even present in the room at the time, but we were not listened too. Shower broke, no globes in lamps, and filthy linen and stairs. Do NOT stay here!

This hotel could do with a major facelift, its grubby, old and dirty.

Very old fashioned hotel, we felt as if we were in a time wharp, but the staff were efficient and friendly and the breakfast was good. Great location and looking out onto the inside of Central Station was atmospheric if a little strange. We would stay there again.
