Traveller from Devizes stayed in April,2009
Guest Comment:
On arrival we were allocated a room which was well below the standard of accommodation we had expected. The room was at the rear overlooking the air-con and other services for Queen Street station and was somewhat 'tired' looking. On our request, the reception staff immediately gave us a much bigger and brighter room overlooking George Square. The breakfasts were superb as was the meal we had in the Brasserie. The staff were very polite, friendly and efficient.
Top Tip:
Glasgow Cathedral has a magnificent undercroft. Scotland Street school was worth a visit. Di Maggio's on Royal Exchange Square is a good, reasonably priced Italian restaurant.
